Our small company specializes in the last 25 years in the import of paper. This refers primarily handmade papers that are produced according to ancient methods and recipes. We import not only, but work with small producers on the spot from which we develop new patterns and species suggest that customers may use these papers and, above all.

Here is a list of different varieties. A detailed separation into groups is not quite possible because many papers can be used very versatile.

 A)  Cotton papers   article number  9051 - 9066  (no paint papers)

These are papers that are similar. But we have a huge selection of colors and surface treatments crumpled - and smooth. A strong paper that very well for interiors - such as is suitable for wallpapering. Paper size 70 x 100 cm. These papers are coated on one side with paint, so that they can be easily bonded. Papers with the words "metal" have a shiny surface that the photo does not quite come into effect. When wallpapering normal wallpaper paste can be used. If you jump up after handling during drying corners "instructions" and just re-glue. Handmade papers have no direction and move even after the laminating. This has the advantage that smooth the surface by itself.

B) - 1. Pain papers: Daphne papers from the Himalaya Mountains    Article No 1010 - 1097

This construction paper is made from the Daphne bush, which grows in the region between 1.500 - 3.500 meters. The higher the tree grows, the more resin containing the cortex and the more resistant the paper is.

The tradition of manufacturing is very old and was formerly an outpatient business. The papermakers Daphne grove moved from one to another. After the harvesting of trees and shrubs we moved on, the shrubs might grow back in their own interest and were not mishandled. Previously, customers were the monks in the monasteries, or lawyer. Since the Daphne plant has the capacity for small animals to the microbes to be unpalatable, it is quite possible that the stories are of a very old paper quite true. Daphne papers being manufactured with water and even destroyed by water. It is important that the pain paper or important writing papers are made with clean water from the mountains. Which you should check when buying.

The lawyers, however, used only very thin paper, so that subsequent forgeries were seen at marriage certificates, etc. easily.

Daphne pain papers can be painted with all colors. But it is important to ensure that the sometimes not the wanted flow of water colors as well. Therefore, the Daphne paper is ideal for oil paints. If the frame is mounted on the paper is too fragile, can warp the frame.

B) - 2. Pain papers from cotton  1098 - 1104

this paper, see the article number 1098 - 1104 These pain papers are handmade cotton, which was not bleached. A slightly thicker paper with a scoop edge. The surface is uneven, a little, that is, it has been deliberately left it as it was taken out of the scoop frame.

The paper offered by us here is shown with Substance (300). Cotton is lighter than the well-known in our stocks. It is a fairly thick paper, but in spite of very flexible - because it is handmade.

B) - 3.  Calligraphy papers Article number 1520 - 1522

             if the customer does not know, then it should be pointed out to him
             that the original Japanese or Chinesiche preparation is done with
             a brush, while in Europe is mainly written with pen. This is important
             when selecting paper. The dealer should give small pieces of paper
             to try to make us happy to help. The dimensions of Calligraphy papers
             are almost always about 70 x 140 cm.

B) - 4. Papers for restoration    Article number   1523 - 1526

this purpose, we offer a paper that is handmade - therefore, without direction, unbleached - this is etrwas creamy in color. It was produced from the Salago bark, which contains no resin. The size is 70 x 100 cm. Currently we have 4 different weights in stock. Special sizes and weights on request. We recommend in this particular case, when working with a new paper, to give a small test sample from your dealer to be sure at this sensitive work.

B) - 5 . Papyrus - papers    Article number 2000 - 2008

in 5 different sizes in the more commonly known color "light" and further processed in the quality of papyrus, "dark or antique".

The papyrus plant is an aquatic plant and therefore has a tendency to roll a little. It is better if this paper is kept at the company in a file cover fixed - it remains straight. Ancient papyrus was processed and more intense "knock", is processed in two different directions, and therefore a little more smoothly, and almost no roll. The price difference is about 20%.

Papyrus is also an excellent paint paper, but is used much for instruments and decorative backgrounds. It can also wallpapering, for that antique is better.
